What can you expect from a one star hotel with a very small road to pass by a car and don't even provide a parking space?
That's what crossed my mind when I first came at Tune Hotels Double Six, Legian, Bali. I stayed here on my vacation for 3 nights, 9-12 April 2012.
This hotel is not located at the main road, so you need to go the narrow alley first before you can see the hotel.
Before I decided to stay here, I prepared myself with enough informations about other accommodations, comparing the price and guest reviews. Tune Hotels Double Six, Legian, Bali, stole my attention and made me curious enough to experience it by myself. I love how this hotel keeps their guests comfortable, even with their minimalistic features (no TV in every room!). The hotel-keepers have managed to keep the hotel area (including room) clean and comfortable. In the end, I don't need TV as long as I can take a good hot-water shower and sleep well after being exhausted exploring Bali for the whole day.
And now for minus point of the hotel. The room size is enough for a queen-size bad with two nightstand on each side. No closet, only few hangers provided on the right side of the bed. They also don't provide you a clothes rack, so it can be very tricky if you need to hang your wet clothes/towel. If you hang it in the bathroom, the air become damp and unpleasant. Some guests eventually hang it on the balcony, although the hotel management prohibited to do so.
I purchased the add-ons 36hr AC and 24hr WiFi, but the internet didn't work quite well. The signal was so poor, and it's automatically running non-stop once you've activated. Unlike the AC which automatically stop, every time you leave the room.
Overall, this hotel is recommended for those who don't need "luxury" features, and can be pleased by only basic-features (bed & shower) from a hotel.
P.S. Perhaps it's better for you to purchase add-on breakfast, because it's not included in the rate, and to dine in their restaurant will cost you more. Because breakfast above Rp 15,000 for one person, is expensive enough for me.

Tips:
- select the topmost room overlooking the surrounding area, because the scenery is quite nice, quiet room of the back and forth.
- Book pretty early to get handsome discounted prices on rooms
- get the rooms downstairs for better wifi signal
- Rooms on level 2 or 3 facing south have nicer views
